ABOUT
Our mission is to create a safe and unique environment, open to beginners and more experienced riders, where like-minded individuals come to train and have fun, all while in longboarding paradise.

THIS IS ABOUT PEOPLE WHO COME ALIVE IN THE MOUNTAINS
ABOUT
OUR RIDERS
Coming from France to Australia, 18-year-old (adrenaline) seekers, to 52-year-old "I always wanted to start skateboarding & I'm thinking to buy a motorbike" midlifers, from all backgrounds, and different levels. All arriving in one place to practice something they dreamed about for a long time.
And all of a sudden they find themselves, together battling shared struggles and fears. And this is where the magic happens. Sharing similarities, celebrating differences, united through passion.
ABOUT
THE EXPERIENCE
What I like the most is that a bunch of total strangers become friends through the same passion. The coaches are always at your side with valuable tips and ensure that you have an unforgettable skate trip.
Mayka
Thank you, Dominiek for making Woodwings possible! I felt so alive, so satisfied, so home in a way. Thanks also to the whole crew. Next year, yeah! I'm up for it.

ABOUT
OUR STORY
We started in 2015 with all-in training camps for Belgian and Dutch longboarders. In 2016, we opened our doors to international riders. With riders coming from Australia, South Korea, North America, Canada, Brasil, Russia, Europe, ..., it was an immense success. As of 2023, we have welcomed no less than 35 (!) nationalities to our camps.
In 2024, we challenged our status quo: From camps to trips. From coming home to one place, to finding home in several places. From mountains to oceans, coaching trips to the French Alps & the Canary Islands, and who knows where next?
With Woodwings we want to share our knowledge of - and passion for - (downhill) longboarding. We want to create a healthy community where everybody feels extremely welcome. A unique place to develop a passion and gain experiences, and mostly, to escape & unwind, to come home to.
